Week 6 - October 13 - 19

Finally - all the siding is in place...except for that 2x4 holding the porch roof up.  Tomorrow, Tuesday, I am meeting with the superintendent to do our "Pre Drywall walk-through."  Hopefully after that they'll start the dry walling and we'll be in the house before Thanksgiving!

They've started dry walling!

Here is our living room.  They've started with the ceiling.  No, it's not snowing inside our house, that is lint that I failed to wipe from the lens.

The first wall panel of drywall.  They've got most of the ceiling in the house covered with little holes for where light fixtures will go.

A closet in one of the bedrooms.

Another bed room with a great view of the setting sun.  The big "X" on the wall a hurricane strap that they nail to each of the studs.

Elizabeth's parents have come to visit us for the weekend so we take them to see the house.

The entire house now has drywall up.
